Finally, the chipset giant, who took the stage at the Automotive Redefined: Technology Showcase event, announced the 4th generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform.

The 4th generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform, which is a center for high performance computing, computer vision, artificial intelligence and multi-sensor processing; It comes in three performance versions, Performance, Premiere and Paramount for entry, mid-level and super-level computing platforms, and offers lifetime wireless update support.

Qualcomm promises to connect cars via cloud

Qualcomm's new Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform includes 6th generation Kryo CPUs, Hexagon processors, Qualcomm artificial intelligence engine, 6th generation Qualcomm Adreno GPUs, and Spectra ISPs. Thanks to these units, automobiles; It offers advanced head-up display (AR-HUD), infotainment and monitoring services for the cabin.

Qualcomm has increased its wireless connectivity capabilities with Snapdragon Automotive 4G and 5G Platforms announced at the same event. Snapdragon Automotive 4G and 5G Platforms, which offer support for Integrated Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other precision positioning technologies, can connect vehicles via the cloud for a higher-level experience.




Nakul Duggal, Senior Vice President of Automotive at Qualcomm, stated that they are trying to offer the industry's most advanced digital cabin solutions with the 4th generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform and Snapdragon Automotive 4G and 5G Platforms; He stated that vehicles with these platforms will be launched in 2021.
