The reason for this was that the US-based technology giant Apple was at the top for the first time after 2016. The company has finally managed to surpass Amazon, which has been at the top for years.

According to the statements made by Brand Finance, Apple's brand value increased by 87 percent to $ 263.4 billion. This surge allowed Amazon to surpass $ 254 billion in value. As such, Apple has become the most valuable brand of 2021. The first four companies following Apple were Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Samsung, respectively. The least valued among the top five companies was Google with a 1.4 percent increase.

The company that followed Tesla was Alibaba, China's largest e-commerce provider. The company's brand value increased by 100 percent, reaching $ 39.2 billion.

Six of the 10 brands that lost value in the fastest way are aviation companies.

The total value of the brand, which was valued by 9 percent, reached $ 24.9 billion. On the other hand, Spotify also crushed its competitors and appeared as the best in its field. The appreciation rate of the platform was 39 percent. However, video game companies such as Electronic Arts, Tencent and Activision Blizzard have also managed to strengthen their place in the list of most valuable brands.
