Beta Registrations of Starlink, which Provides Internet from Space, Started

The beta registration program of the Starlink project, where Elon Musk offers internet service from space, has been opened. You can send a request for registration to the beta program by typing your e-mail address and location on the official website.

We have told you many times about the developments of SpaceX's Starlink project before. Finally, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced that Starlink could reach the final stage in Europe in February or March.

Now, a form has been opened on Starlink's official website to participate in the beta program. You can send a request to participate by simply typing in the e-mail address and service address location. Starlink notifies you by sending an e-mail when it starts serving in that region.

Starlink beta registration started

Those who follow the developments about tarlink will remember, Elon Musk's promises with Starlink were quite big. However, since there are still satellites sent to space and ground stations installed, it is not possible to say that they are operating in full capacity and efficiently. That's why beta goes as Better Than Nothing Beta, better than nothing beta.

Starlink offers data rates between 50 MB / s and 150 Mbps in the current beta process, while offering a latency between 20 and 40 ms. It is also stated that there may be short-term internet connection disconnections.
It is stated that as more satellites are launched into space and more ground stations are established, there will be great changes in data speed and latency, while in the summer of 2021, the latency will decrease to between 16 ms and 19 ms.

Starlink's price is a bit disappointing at this point. A fee of $ 499 is paid in the US to own the Starlink Kit, and a monthly price of $ 99 is required.
